ALL YOUR FRIENDS ARE DEAD — Kickstarter Campaign!

The Breakfast Club meets The Big Chill meets… Jason Voorhees?! From the minds of Ricky Glore and Nick Hiance comes the newest in horror awesomeness: All You Friends Are Dead, the story of the teens in your favorite slashers, all grown up but facing the same murderous rampage. And they need your help to make the movie complete. Enter Kickstarter. The All Your Friends Are Dead team is looking for backers to meet their $5000 goal. There are three tiers of perks, but really, we’re in it for the meat of it all — the film itself!

A down-in-the-dumps Matt Wilbee finds himself 35 and pretty much done with life. Calling on his friends for one last goodbye at the old campgrounds of their youth, Wilbee and the gang start getting picked off by the slasher of a lifetime. Part comedy, part gore-fest, part whodunit, All Your Friends Are Dead is the indie horror film we’ve all been dreaming of. Have you ever wondered why teens get all the cool kills and adults only get the mundane ones? Fear not, this film’s rife with knives, machetes, chainsaws, and more! Like the title says, by the time we get into the meat of the story, all of Wilbee’s friends are dead. But Ricky Glore wants viewers to know something — it doesn’t end there; AYFAD adds twists and turns not seen before in your standard slasher. In fact, Glore, Hiance, and their team are working tirelessly to bring indie horror to the forefront of the genre. And it won’t be hard to do. The team consists of SPFX/Makeup experts from films like Haunt and Candy Corn, along with famed Northern Kentucky haunt, The USS Nightmare.

For those of you weary of donating to yet another indie film, leave your fears at the door; All Your Friends Are Dead is already halfway completed. Kickstarter funds will be going towards continuing production costs, of course, but also creative and exciting kills, special effects (yes!), and actor compensation.

Rest assured that All Your Friends Are Dead is in good hands; Ricky Glore is a life-long horror fan, continuously pumping out fantastic shorts like Caw and Racyst, finally making his move to feature films. Comedian by day, horror fan always, AYFAD mixes perfect timing and perfect horror aesthetic without the pompous blockbuster vibe. And that’s what indie horror is all about — taking the appreciation for the genre, including your local community, and combining those to make a masterpiece. This Kickstarter campaign is just another way to uplift smaller artists and grow the horror community as a whole.
