REVIEW: Friend of the World (2020)
Friend of the World is an indie flick that keeps on giving.

Friend of the World is an indie flick that keeps on giving.
From the minds of Ricky Glore and Nick Hiance comes the newest in horror awesomeness: All You Friends Are Dead, the story of the teens in your favorite slashers, all grown up but facing the same murderous rampage.
Smaller studios (and now even just fans on a mission) are creating masterpieces, spreading like wildfire through film festivals and pure word of mouth.
There may be an explanation for missing persons cases worldwide. Too bad we canβt escape it.
Iβm a sucker for low budget/indie finds. There are a select few, like 2004βs Satanβs Little Helper, that are bad but in the best way possible — so much so that I wouldnβt even say theyβre not bad at all.
As we leave the teens and enter a new decade, will we see a continuation of the old, or a continuation of the new? Here are my thoughts on possible trends of 2020.
Each year we hear the phrase and cringe to ourselves, knowing full well those people will remain the same as theyβve always been. We can generally say that trends stay the same for the most part; if there are any changes at all, theyβre small and slight. Horror is no different.
