Based on the 1991 novel of the same name, Ringu is the story of one of the most infamous Japanese tall tales: a video tape that kills you when you watch it.
As I scrolled through the shonen, mecha, and harem picks, I came across a show called Theatre of Darkness: Yamishibai.
There is literally no other way to describe these movies other than “Creep.”

In five movies, we get a solid story of Death’s relentless pursuit of correcting mistakes caused by a small blip in the system (a premonition). Unfortunately for those caught in the mess, Death always wins in the end.
