I am not one to say The Exorcist (1973) is one of the scariest movies ever made, but I do recognize the impact it has had not only on film, but on worldwide culture. So when a continuation of the story came out, I had to see it and compare.
All you need is love, right? Unfortunately, no… not if you’re a monster.
In five movies, we get a solid story of Death’s relentless pursuit of correcting mistakes caused by a small blip in the system (a premonition). Unfortunately for those caught in the mess, Death always wins in the end.
Number 2 doesn’t always have to be number 2.
