Halloween, horror, and everything spooky are my passions in life. Death and the macabre aren’t bad things to me; they’re things to be studied and appreciated. My obsession with darkness goes back as far as I can remember. I am a Halloween baby, born in the Devil’s Hour, a Scorpio whose patron tarot card is Death (my lucky number 13). Halloween was made for me.
… as is the horror genre. It’s oddly soothing to sit and watch terror and destruction, reveling in other people’s misery. It’s an adrenaline rush to walk through a haunted maze, and intoxicating to smell the autumn air as it blows through a pumpkin patch (or graveyard).
There are no words to explain what Halloween and Horror mean to me. But I try my best to share my love of ghouls and ghosts with the world, describing deeper meanings in film, or expanding on centuries-old traditions, or even just sharing my experiences and adventures.
With this site, I hope to share the magic of horror with you.
It’s as much fun to scare as to be scared.
